The UGA Environmental Chemistry degree combines rigorous core training in quantitative chemistry with a natural science curriculum that includes broad flexibility for students to personalize the major at the upper division level. It is housed within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Science and administered through the Crop and Soil Science Department.

 

About the major

Environmental chemistry is the scientific study of chemical, biochemical, and biogeochemical phenomena in natural systems. It is concerned with both contaminated and uncontaminated systems.
