Research Focus
Developing germplasm and cultivars of alfalfa, white and red clover, orchardgrass, tall fescue, and switchgrass for forage and biofuel uses.  Developing and testing novel plant breeding methodology.  Applying genetic and genomic technologies to improve yield, composition, drought tolerance, aluminum tolerance and other traits.
